Onion, large, chopped in small pieces - 1
Potato, large, chopped in small pieces - 1
Cabbage, chopped - 1/2 cup
Carrot, cut into small pieces - 1
French beans, cut into small pieces - 4-5
Garlic, crushed - 1/2 tsp.
Ginger, crushed - 1/2 tsp.
Salt - 1/2 tsp.
- Put all ingredients in a pan. Add 8 cups of water. Bring it to boil and then allow to simmer.
- Leave it on low heat for about 15-20 mins. You may add a little water if the stock quantity becomes too low.
- Strain the mix so that only clear vegetable stock remains.
- Store ths stock in freezer. Use as needed.
- Discard all vegetables.
Note: Depending on personal preference, mushrooms, peas, corn and green peppers can also be used.
